New Orleans Saints center Erik McCoy was injured on the fourth play of the game in the Saints' Week 3 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles.
McCoy was down on the field after an Alvin Kamara run and headed to the locker room with was reported to be a groin injury. He's been ruled out for the game after initially being listed as questionable to return.
Times-Picayune Saints beat writer Luke Johnson described McCoy as walking "very gingerly" after the injury.

Saints left guard Lucas Patrick moved over to center in place of McCoy with Oli Udoh taking over left guard as the next man up along the offensive line.
The Saints offense has struggled in the first half against the Eagles without McCoy having only scored three points and recording 72 total yards.
