The New Orleans Saints host the Philadelphia Eagles at noon on Sunday as the home team looks to keep the momentum following an impressive 2-0 start to the season. You can follow here for the score and live updates.

The Saints have put up 91 points total on offense this season as Derek Carr and the rest of the offense have far exceeded expectations in the early stages of the season.

The Eagles enter the game at 1-1 after the Atlanta Falcons rallied to beat Philadelphia on its home field this past Monday.

The Saints and Eagles last played on Jan. 1, 2023, with New Orleans leaving Philadelphia with a 20-10 victory.

UPDATED, 10:54 a.m.: Welcome back to the Saints live blog. I'm Times-Picayune Saints Editor Zach Ewing, here to bring you some updates, analysis and social reaction from Saints vs. Eagles at the Caesars Superdome today.

I've been doing these for two years, and this one has the most big-game feel of any of them. In fact, I think it's the Saints' biggest home game since Halloween of 2021, when Jameis Winston was hurt but the Saints beat Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion Bucs to complete a 5-2 start.

Anyway, this one is for a 3-0 start and continued hype and momentum for the Saints' historic start, which includes victories of 47-10 over Carolina and 44-19 last week in Dallas.

One early note: Taysom Hill (chest) is out for the Saints, which isn't unexpected after he was downgraded to doubtful yesterday. It means rookie tight end Dallin Holker will make his NFL debut, as will rookie linebacker Jaylan Ford.

Other inactives for the Saints: WR Bub Means, WR A.T. Perry, QB Spencer Rattler (emergency third QB), DT Khalen Saunders and LB D'Marco Jackson.

For the Eagles, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson is active, meaning the Saints' former instigator will face off with New Orleans for the first time. That ought to be interesting.

Inactives for Philadelphia include star receiver A.J. Brown and former LSU standout linebacker Devin White.

Back with much more as we get closer to kickoff.
