The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra & Conservatory of Music held its premier fundraising event, the Mad Hatters Luncheon and Style Show, on March 22 at Le Pavillon in Lafayette. The mid-day soiree included a gourmet lunch along with a style show featuring local models highlighting spring fashions from Acadiana boutiques.
The Mad Hatter's Luncheon & Style Show is ASO's longest running fundraising event, with 100% of the proceeds supporting ASO's music education programs.
Of course, the event could not happen without the support of sponsors. This year's sponsors included Style Show Partner: Moss BMW and Sharon Moss, whose gorgeous hat and table decorations stole the show. Tastemaker Partners Dr. Dee Garrett & MPW Properties also brought the flavor to the delicious lunch. The Trendsetter Partner, Dianna Rae Jewelry, displayed some of her spectacular pieces, and one lucky winner of the jewelry auction took home a little bling for herself.
We love this event for so many reasons. It puts everyone in a cheery springtime mood and really supports something so valuable to the community. The spring season and music just go together like white gloves and hats. Thank you, Ms. Moss, for inviting me to experience the lovely event. And congratulations ASO on another successful show.
