The Baton Rouge Delta Development Corporation presented 12 debutantes at its 55th Debutante Cotillion on Aug. 3 at the Baton Rouge Marriott.

The 2024 coterie of debutantes were:

Wilson was crowned the 2024 Cotillion Debutante Queen. Her escort was William “Alex” Hill, son of Alex and Mariangie Hill and a graduate of Baton Rouge Magnet High School.

Community service awards went to three organizations:

  • Louisiana Youth Sports Network – Youth Development and Advocacy, Leroy Hollins II, founder and CEO
  • Magnolia Rose Foundation – Child and Human Development, Miranda Georgetown Riley, founder
  • Rosebud Healthcare and Training – Health and Wellness, Vikki Lee Wilbon, RN, CCHC, owner and operator

Scholarship awards were presented to Wilson, Jones, Landry and Finley.

Wilson was recognized as the top scholarship award recipient. 

Entrepreneurial awards were presented to the debutantes with the top ad sales for this year’s cotillion event: Dorsey, first; Scott, second; and Landry, third.

Scott was presented the Miss Congeniality 2024 award, an honor voted on by her peers. 

Esquires for the evening were:
