Only a few days ago, New Orleans Saints do-it-all offensive weapon Taysom Hill was getting a chest injury examined at a Dallas-area hospital.
Thursday, Hill was back on the practice field with the rest of the team, preparing for a Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Hill has played an important role in new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's offense, playing snaps at five different positions, according to Pro Football Focus.
Hill was officially limited in Thursday's practice after missing Wednesday's entirely. He was not the only player to return to practice.
Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (calf) appeared for the first time since an Aug. 23 training camp practice at the Caesars Superdome, although he left practice quickly and was listed as "did not practice" on the Saints' injury report. Linebacker D'Marco Jackson (calf) also returned to practice for the first time since August 22.
Starting safety Will Harris was a new addition to Thursday's injury report, missing practice with a shin injury. Through two games, Harris is the only Saints player who has been on the field for 100 % of the scrimmage snaps.
Offensive lineman Landon Young missed his second consecutive practice with a foot injury.
