New Orleans Saints do-it-all weapon Taysom Hill has left the game in the second half of the Saints' Week 2 contest against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Hill suffered a chest injury and is listed as doubtful to return, one of very few negatives for the Saints on day in which they've thrived as evidenced by a 41-19 fourth quarter lead over the Cowboys.
After the game, Saints coach Dennis Allen said that Hill was taken to the hospital to be evaluated further. He said that he believed that it was a precautionary decision to take Hill to the hospital.
The versatile Hill had recorded 18 rushing yards on three carries prior to the injury along with one reception for one yard.
Hill has been featured in a variety of roles for the team this season, and his absence can impact the offense at a number of positions.
