Hurricane Francine knocked out over 100,000 customers' power in East Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes.

Around 103,914 customers are now without electricity, utility companies reported.

The biggest outages in the region were in Livingston and Ascension parishes.

As of around 11 p.m. Wednesday, the following outages were reported by Entergy and Demco:

Ascension: 41,889

East Baton Rouge: 23,887

Livingston: 23,221

St. John the Baptist: 9,077

Iberville: 3,260

West Baton Rouge: 1,053

St. Helena: 983

East Feliciana: 435

Pointe Coupee: 93

West Feliciana: 16

Other parishes to the south or east of the Baton Rouge area were seeing many more outages.

Terrebonne Parish, near where the storm made landfall, already had more than 25,000 outages. Lafourche Parish reported more than 36,000 outages, and Tangipahoa had more than 14,000.

AT&T was suffering cell-service outages across southern Louisiana, according to reports received by Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard. It was unclear how widespread these outages were reported to be.
