Chicago Sky rookie forward Angel Reese will be joining Unrivaled, a new professional women's basketball league that will feature three-on-three competition, the league announced Wednesday.
Unrivaled was founded by a pair of WNBA stars, Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, and the league plans to pay the highest average salary ever for an American professional basketball league with a minimum of $100,000 for each player.
Unrivaled has announced 10 of the 30 players who will be taking part in the league's first season, which will tip off in January. The league will have six teams featuring five players each.

Each player has been given their own nickname, and Reese will go by "305 Barbie." The 305 is the Miami area code, where the league will be based, and Barbie is the nickname that has followed Reese throughout her basketball career. In Chicago, she's known as the "Chi Barbie." At LSU, she labeled herself "Bayou Barbie."
While the league will be based in south Florida, the hope is for the league to go on the road, playing games in other markets.
Reese is the 10th member of the Unrivaled league to be announced, joining Stewart, Collier, Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Rhyne Howard and Kahleah Copper.
