Conference play starts for a majority of teams across the power four conferences in Week 4, which makes for a superb viewing slate. Here are the top five games we'll be tuning into this weekend, complete with lines from FanDuel Sportsbook, as well as picks:
All games Saturday
No. 11 USC (-5.5) @ No. 18 MICHIGAN
2:30 p.m. • CBS
Is USC a legitimate contender? Fans will find out a lot about Lincoln Riley's team as it travels to take on the Michigan Wolverines. Sherrone Moore's men have struggled offensively and they didn't do themselves any favors in a narrow win over Arkansas State. The Trojans' offense is too dynamic, especially with two weeks of preparation.
No. 12 UTAH (-1.5) @ No. 14 OKLAHOMA STATE
3 p.m. • Fox
The Big 12 is wide open with Oklahoma and Texas now in the SEC. Oklahoma State and newcomer Utah hope to fill the void left by the recently departed duo, and a win to kick off conference play would be a positive first step. Don't underestimate Mike Gundy, the Cowboys have won seven straight at home.
No. 8 MIAMI (-16.5) @ SOUTH FLORIDA
6 p.m. • ESPN
South Florida gained the respect of fans for a second year in a row when it kept up with Alabama for three quarters. Now, the Bulls welcome the new Heisman Trophy betting favorite, Cam Ward, and Miami to town. The Hurricanes have won by an average of 45 points through three games, expect them to roll again.
No. 6 TENNESSEE (-6.5) @ No. 15 OKLAHOMA
6:30 p.m. • ABC
College GameDay is on site for Josh Heupel's homecoming. The former national championship-winning quarterback at Oklahoma leads his undefeated Tennessee Volunteers into a ruckus environment for the Sooners' SEC opener. It'll take a special effort from an elite defense to stop Nico Iamaleava and the Vols. Oklahoma (No. 27 in total defense) doesn't fit the bill.
No. 13 KANSAS STATE (-6.5) @ BYU
9:30 p.m. • ESPN
BYU has surprised many by jumping out to a 3-0 start with two big wins (SMU and Wyoming) on the road. The Cougars return home to host one of the Big 12's top contenders in Kansas State. Avery Johnson and Co. outscored Arizona and Tulane by 41 points over the last six quarters, need I say more?
