One man was injured in a shooting in Youngsville Saturday evening, according to the Youngsville Police Department.
Youngsville police responded to reports of a shooting around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Cautillion Drive. The unidentified victim is a male in his 20s.
The shooting stemmed from a disturbance that ended with one shot being fired into the victim's lower leg. The man was taken to the hospital suffering from non-life-threatening injuries and was released later in the evening Saturday.
The suspect fled the area after the shooting. No arrest has been made yet.
An investigation is ongoing.
